Thank You Stephan

This is a place to say thank you to Stephan. Perhaps he did something for you and you didn't have a chance to say thank you, or perhaps now that he is gone, something he said or did means more than you had realized.

Stephan,

Stephan, we never met but we are connected through our mutual friends. You will forever shine through them.

Thank you for your friendship.

Stephan, thank you for so many things. Thank you for making summers at the pool fun, thank you for introducing me to SRT, thank you for letting me babysit your "babies" Hailie and Komet, thank you for Willie, thank you for the amazing melo awards that I cherish and will forever, and lastly thank you for always knowing exactly what to say to bring a smile to my face. That does not even begin to express how thankful I am to have had you in my life. I will always remember your easy smile and contagious laugh. SRT will never be the same without you.

Thank you Stephan, for all that you did for Sunol and for me and my family. You did so many favors for us over the years, almost always without being asked.
Thank you for your invaluable help on almost every event I chaired at Sunol Glen School - you sure knew how to make a gal look good!
Thank you for all the sweet and kind gifts. If I said "that's neat" I'd hear "it's yours" or find that item on my doorstep the next morning. I will treasure these gifts always!
Stephan, you will not and can not, be replaced. So very many people share in the sadness and grief of being deprived of you - such a bright, shining star in our lives.
We can and will carry on your memory by helping those around us, as you did so graciously for the years that we had you. I love you buddy - SRT cast parties will never be the same without you! M.B.W.M.Y!!!

Thank you Stephan for all the smiles, laughs and fun that you have shown me and others. Thank you for all you have done and given of yourself to our Community.
You will always be in my heart and never forgotten. You will be missed.

Thank you my beloved "brother", friend and confidante, for finding me when I was lost and teaching me how to play again. Thank you for bringing me into SRT, where the seasons we spent together hold some of my most treasured memories. For drives in the T-bird, for helping me find my precious Viva, "cousin" to Komet and Haili, for making me laugh so hard I thought I would pass out, for the parties we made together, sharing wigs and decorating the clubhouse into various magical scenes. But most of all, for teaching me the meaning of unconditional love and acceptance. I'm so sorry you left us too soon and I will love and miss you every day forever. I hope you are in your "happy place" with others you love who have passed and that the sun is shining so you can keep your tan.

Thank you Steve, for teaching me that accepting myself for who I am is a wonderful thing; for reminding me to stop worrying about things that don't matter and to know what things do. You've shown me how to really live life and I mean really live it, not just a moment or two of it here and there to make up for the moments lost. But most important, I thank you for running your fingers through my hair, only to side with Zakk on why in the world am I not growing it long! You will forever be in my heart Steve, mixed up with all my love.

Thanks, Steve, for being such a bright and shining light for us during our four days in Belize. You were there every morning with coffee and "buns", laughter, stories, and joy. Loved your costuming and enthusiasm for the thrift shops that furnished your suitcase of clothes for Belize. Thanks, too, for filling our room with stylish flower arrangements and for serving us rummy cocktails in the evenings. The high point for our trip was the festive dinner at Purple Space Monkey that you hosted. Loved the moment you stepped back to the table (after slipping away for a moment) and with a great grin announced your surprise, "It's all paid for!" Most of all, I thank you for being such a bright and shining light in my sister Solveig's world.

Thank you Stephan for making my time with SRT an adventure and fun. You were my 'hero' from the moment our paths crossed in 'Vile Veterinarian' and you lived up to that role for me in so many ways. Thank you for crafting my hair every night of every performance. Your vision, style, dramatic accent were the 'sprinkles' on top of the frosting.

Where do I begin? THANK YOU Stephan for being fun and adventurous, for sharing margaritas with me by the ocean and watching the stars by fire light. Thank you for your wise words and caring nature. You were charming and charismatic, you made those around you smile and your shining light will forever be in my heart. I will never look at butter the same way ever again! I loved you so much and I will miss you so much! “Every time I look in the mirror the past is gone....dream on.”

Stephan,

I didn't know you but I wish I did. I just read all the "About Stephan" stories, and they all brought a smile to my face. So, thank you for being you, and having the ability to touch the heart of a complete stranger.

Steve, Thank you for being such a great Neighbor and friend, since we moved from Sunol, we have never forgotten what a great place it was to live. My family and I are so glad our paths crossed, we have fond memories of our years there, and of course you and Neil are a great part of them. You will be missed!!!
